ABSTRACT
Abstract An outbreak of febrile respiratory illness associated with human adenovirus (HAdV) occurred in the South Korea military during 2014–15 influenza season and thereafter. Molecular typing phylogenetic analysis patient samples identified HAdV type 55 as causative agent. Emergence this novel necessitates continued surveillance civilian populations.
