ABSTRACT
In China, the prevention and control of Zika virus disease has been a public health threat since first imported case was reported in February 2016. To determine vector competence potential mosquito species, we experimentally infected Aedes aegypti, Ae. albopictus, Culex quinquefasciatus mosquitoes determined infection rates, dissemination transmission rates. We found highest for aegypti mosquitoes, some susceptibility albopictus but no ability Cx. mosquitoes. Considering that, are widely distributed distribution is limited, primary should be targeted strategies.
