ABSTRACT
We report a case of unusual human anaplasmosis in the Amazon rainforest French Guiana. Molecular typing demonstrated that pathogen is novel Anaplasma species, distinct to all known and more genetically related recently described spp. causing infections wild fauna Brazil.
