ABSTRACT
Hazardous sinkholes started to emerge as a new problem that threatens the safety of people in Korea. In this study, sinkhole simulation and monitoring centrifuge test were designed make environment for related research. Electrical resistivity system was built facility 1g preliminary performed using ice blocks order ensure underground cavities model. Subsequently, 20g simulating two types such existing cavity water leakage from sewage pipeline. After reaching target centrifugal g-level, groundwater injected base model box simulate level change. survey conducted continuously monitor anomalies. The electrical results corresponds well expected process generation by showing definite difference between adjacent soils. From centrifuge, it is noticed could effectively, developed can be applied further parametric studies
