ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: The continuous development of ultrasound techniques increasingly enables better description and visualization unclear lesions. New systems must be evaluated with regard to all these diagnostic possibilities. METHODS: A multifrequency C1-7 convex probe (SC7-1M) the new high-end system Resona A20 Series was used. Modern technologies, including HiFR CEUS, SR CEUS multimodal tissue imaging shear wave elastography (SWE), fat evaluation viscosity measurements (M-Ref) were applied. RESULTS: Of n = 70 (mean value 48,3 years±20,3 years, range 18–84 years) cases examined, a definitive diagnosis could made in 67 cases, confirmed by reference and/or follow-up. these, 22 malignant changes (HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) 9, CCC (cholangiocellular 3, metastases colorectal carcinomas or recurrences HCC 10). In 12 CCC, using technique (with values >2 m/s 3.7 m/s) showed mean 2.3±0.31 degree fibrosis F2 F4. 14 measurement (range 0.51 0.72 dB/cm/MHz, 0.58±0.12 dB/cm/MHz) sense proportional fatty liver detected. 4 localized distribution disorders, >0.7 dB/cm/MHz significant deposits remaining tissue. Relevant >1.8 kPa found 31 5 cystic lesions partially sclerosing cholangitis, 13 9 post-interventionally, but also benign foci additional systemic inflammation. CONCLUSIONS: results are promising show quality ultrasound-based diagnostics. However, there is need for further investigations individual aspects, preferably on multi-center basis.
