ABSTRACT
This paper aims to examine the relationship between energy consumption from renewable sources, and economic growth expressed in GDP per capita several OIC countries. The dataset used involves data (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) countries including Indonesia, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Egypt, UAE, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan for period 2000 2018 obtained World Development Index. study uses a dynamic panel estimation approach such as DOLS FMOLS determine long-term variables. We also discuss how use Granger-causality test estimate causality short term. empirical result shows that long-run, doesn't have an effect on growth. Meanwhile, CO2 emissions were found significant positive with Furthermore, conservation hypothesis theory is accepted energy. Thus, implementation policies can be applied by taking into account
