ABSTRACT
Implementation of biofloc technology (BFT) system in aquaculture industry shows high productivity, low feed conversion ratio, and an optimum culture environment. This study was divided into two phases. The first phase involved maintaining the water quality using carbon-to-nitrogen ratio by manipulating pH water. second examined performance harvesting (remaining phytoplankton suspended solids system) chicken eggshell powder (CESP). showed that 7 to 8 were best with removal percentage ammonia (>99%) a remaining concentration 0.016 mg L−1 0.018 , respectively. this performed determine optimal formulation conditions CESP as bio-flocculant excess biofloc. use higher efficiency more than 80% under following treatment conditions: 0.25 g dosage; rapid slow mixing rates 150 30 rpm, respectively; min settling time; velocity 0.39 mm s−1 6 7. Therefore, results indicated would be green approach for sustainable wastewater is organic matrix environmental-friendly bio-coagulant harvesting.
