Towards the long-lingering question of truth value certain propositions in modern philosophy language, Rudolf Carnap has shed light on it from a Pragmatic point view. The perspective Pragmatics proposed by Jef Verschueren coincides with Carnap’s theory. It’s true that all aspects language use reflect pragmatic considerations users, especially when comes to multi-modality verbs. Revealing pragmatical essence and principles verbs will contribute fullfilling requirements usefulness, fruitfulness, simplicity. Ultimately, through variability negotiability adapted effect can surely be realized.
