ABSTRACT
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects millions of people worldwide, and its pathogenesis characterized by the formation amyloid plaque in brain. Current treatments for AD are limited only offer symptomatic relief, making development new therapies crucial area research. One promising approach use natural products, which have been used traditional medicine centuries rich source bioactive compounds. In this review, we discuss products treatment AD, with particular focus on those target clearance. We highlight mechanisms action these including inhibition amyloid-beta (Aβ) aggregation, promotion Aβ degradation, modulation Aβ-induced neuroinflammation. also challenges associated as therapeutics, issues related to standardization, quality control, safety. Finally, examine potential combining modern drug approaches, such nanotechnology synthetic biology, overcome develop effective AD.
