ABSTRACT
Background: Promoting basic newborn care skill and practice is a cost-effective approach to improving health outcomes. Objective: Intended assess factors associated with Practice of Essential in western Ethiopia, 2021. Methods: Institutional based cross-sectional study design was conducted. Data collected by interviewer administered structured questionnaires, entered Epi-data 3.1version analyzed using SPSS version 26. The strength association between independent dependent variables measured odd ratios 95% CI at p-value < 0.05. Conclusion: Mean value good score essential 41.5% [95% (38.3, 48.5)]. Training, educational qualification, availability materials work experience were significantly knowledge care. Since low compared other studies Ethiopia identified interventional area should be focused the stake holders.
