ABSTRACT
Every year the American Cancer Society estimates number of new cancer cases and deaths expected in United States current compiles most recent data on incidence, mortality, survival, using National Institute (NCI) incidence Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) mortality data. Incidence death rates are age adjusted to 1970 US standard population. It is estimated that 1,284,900 will be diagnosed 555,500 people die from 2002. From 1992 1998, declined males females, while decreased among increased slightly females. Most notably, African-American men showed largest decline both mortality. Nevertheless, African Americans still carry highest burden with later-stage diagnosis poorer survival compared whites. Despite continued rates, total recorded continues increase due aging expanding
