ABSTRACT
Hypoalbuminemia frequently occurs in Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS), but clinical significance of hypoalbuminemia is not well known. This study was designed to evaluate as a marker severity disease patients HFRS. We evaluated the relationship between level serum albumin and parameters representing 144 The were divided into three groups based on albumin; Group I (normal albumin), II (serum <3.5 g/dL >/=3.0 g/dL), III <3.0 g/dL). Of total patients, 42 (29.2%) categorized I, 39 (27.1%) II, 63 (43.8%) III. had higher rate incidence episode hypotension, pulmonary edema than did II. lowest positively correlated platelet count (r=0.505, p<0.001) negatively leukocyte (r=-0.329, p<0.001), BUN (r=-0.484, creatinine (r=-0.394, AST (r=-0.251, p=0.002). Our data suggest that acute stage HFRS, associated
