ABSTRACT
This study compared interview and telephone surveys to select the better method for regularly estimating nationwide vaccination coverage rates in Korea.Interview using multi-stage cluster sampling stratified random were conducted.Nationwide estimated subjects with cards survey.The survey relative showed a higher response rate, lower missing validity less difference between card owners non-owners.Primary rate was greater than 90% except fourth dose of DTaP (diphtheria/ tetanus/pertussis), third polio, Japanese B encephalitis (JBE).The DTaP4: Polio3: MMR1 fully 62.0% BCG1:HepB3:DTaP4:Polio3:MMR1 59.5%.For age-appropriate vaccination, 50%-80%.We concluded that survey.These results can be applied countries incomplete registry decreasing landline due increased cell phone usage countries.Among mandatory vaccines, efforts increase DTaP, JBE regular vaccinations at recommended periods should conducted Korea.
