ABSTRACT
This research discusses the problems of deaf students who experience difficulties in skills making plastic canvas bags. aims to determine process improving students' bags through a direct instruction learning model. The type is classroom action class VIII SLB Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung with qualitative and quantitative approach. procedure consists planning, action, observation reflection carried out over two cycles using data collection techniques form observation, documentation tests. results obtained are that ability can be improved
