ABSTRACT
With the aim of improving floristic knowledge Kosovo, here we present an inventory plant taxa recorded and collected between March 2015 September 2019, in mountain massif Luboten, Sharri Mts., SE Kosovo. Field surveys were conducted repeatedly for four years, on each vegetation season. this work aimed to provide detailed data concerning vascular flora richness distributional patterns. Floristic samples studied all representative habitats sites, climate, exposition, altitude bedrock composition. This research led identification a total 853 plants, belonging 354 genera 93 families. Among these taxa, 82 are Balkan endemics 53 included into Red Book Vascular Flora Out them, 4 critically endangered, 16 3 vulnerable, 8 near threatened 22 least concern. On basis available literature, 2 found be new Kosovo: Bromopsis cappadocica subsp. Pilosella macrotricha. At national scale, have distribution records 17 additionally taxa: Ranunculus fontanus Sesleria wettsteinii, conservation suggestions provided. All natural classified according EUNIS their is herein Furthermore, corresponding habitat(s) taxon where it was growing also indicated.
