ABSTRACT
A variety of soil- and air-borne pathogens can attack faba bean plants, leading to rust chocolate spot diseases that seriously affect plant yield. This study aims evaluate the efficacy certain essential oils as abiotic agents biotic safe alternatives fungicides for both diseases. Double foliar applications these significantly reduced development incidence. The highest reduction in (92.7%) was achieved after spraying with jojoba oil, followed by 88.9% 85.3% grape bitter orange oils, respectively. Furthermore, inducers such Bacillus subtilis, Trichoderma harzianum, Saccharomyces cerevisiae incidence 100.0%, a 72.3% orange, thyme, black seed, oils. second treatment B. T. seed chitosan increased protein contents more than first treatment. Individual sprays enhanced catalase (CAT) specific activity, levels applications, S. lemongrass oil induced peroxidase (POD) activity spray applications. Black chitinase (CHIA) application, while level spray. application moringa chitosan, stimulated formation new bands treated which were not found application. Therefore, used this could be considered good resistance against diseases, reducing harmful effects synthetic fungicides.
