ABSTRACT
Effects of daidzein on expression mRNA gonadotropin receptors [follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), luteinizing (LHR)] were evaluated in ovarian follicles ISA laying hens that 13 mo old the postpeak period egg laying. The randomly allocated as control and daidzein-treated groups, with supplemented to basal diet at level 10 mg/kg for 7 wk. granulosa layers preovulatory (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5) follicular small yellow follicle (SYF), large white (LWF), atretic collected. related genes was measured by semiquantitative reverse transcription PCR. Results showed significantly increased egg-laying rate (P < 0.05) number SYF LWF 0.05). relative abundance FSHR decreased from F5 F1, but LHR displayed opposite trend developmental changes. Treatment resulted LWF, SYF, F4 F2 F1 These results indicated dietary supplementation upregulated improve development chicken developing performance after peak period.
