ABSTRACT
Indocyanine green (ICG), a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has been extensively used as photoacoustic (PA) probe for PA imaging. However, its practical application is limited poor photostability in water, rapid body clearance, non-specificity. Herein, we fabricated novel biomimetic nanoprobe coating ICG-loaded mesoporous silica nanoparticles with cancer cell membrane (namely, CMI) This exhibited good dispersion, large loading efficiency, biocompatibility, homologous targeting ability to Hela cells vitro. Furthermore, vivo ex imaging on tumor-bearing nude mice demonstrated that CMI could accumulate tumor tissue display superior efficacy compared free ICG. All these results might be promising contrast agent of cervical carcinoma.
