ABSTRACT
Surface modification of titanium has been a hot topic to promote bone integration between implants and tissue. Titanium dioxide nanotubes fabricated on the surface by anodic oxidation have mature scheme that shown osteogenesis in vitro. However, mechanisms behind such phenomenon remain elusive. In this study, we verified enhanced BMSCs nanotopographic vitro proved its effect vivo constructing defect model rats. addition, role mechanosensitive molecule Yap is studied research application inhibitor verteporfin knockdown/overexpression MC3T3-E1 cells. Piezo1 ion channel discovered recent years found be elemental metabolism. our preliminarily figured out regulatory relationship as downstream effector nanotube-stimulated osteogenesis. conclusion, nanotopography promoted increasing nuclear localization activating expression downstream.
