ABSTRACT
For clinical applications, non-cytotoxicity and good bonding property of dental restorative materials are the most essential important. The aim this study was to evaluate potential for applications two novel bioinspired nacre-like ceramic (yttria-stabilized zirconia)-polymer (polymethyl methacrylate) composites in terms cytotoxicity property. relative growth rates (24 h) Lamellar Brick-and-mortar measured by CCK8 were 102.93%±0.04 98.91%±0.03, respectively. According results proliferation experiments, not cytotoxic human periodontal ligament fibroblasts (HPDLFs) vitro . Both exhibited improved strength as compared Control group (Vita In-Ceram YZ). As polymer content composite material increases, its also which enhances application field restoration. Meanwhile, controlling direction loading force shear test, effect microstructure on anisotropic studied. After sandblasted, strengths longitudinal transverse directions 17.56±1.56 MPa 18.67±1.92 MPa, respectively, while 16.36±1.30 16.99±1.67 showed that had no significant composites.
