ABSTRACT
Background Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) is the main cause of viral in Asia. Nowadays, no effective and specific therapy for JE patients available except supportive treatment. The fatality rate still about 30%, more than half survivors suffered from various neuropsychiatric sequelae. Thus, attention should be paid to JE. Methods In this study, a retrospective cohort was collected general features admitted into Department Infectious Diseases were analyzed. Meanwhile, dynamic change plasma cytokines immune cells with divergent prognosis detected Results We found mounted proportion adult/old cases. level IL-6 IL-18 increased especially fatal individuals. There continuous decreased percentage CD4 + T B severe outcome compared surviving patients. Conclusions consistent high low PBMCs might indicators poor prognosis.
