ABSTRACT
Inflammation plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of hypertension. A novel inflammatory biomarker systemic response index (SIRI) is related with all-cause and cardiovascular (CVD) mortality, while SIRI hypertension patients unclear.A total 21,506 participants were recruited National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 1999 to 2018. was calculated as neutrophil count * monocyte count/lymphocyte count. Hypertension defined according examination blood pressure, prescription, self-reported physician diagnosis. Survival status followed through 31 December 2019. The non-linear relationship assessed using restricted cubic spline analysis. association mortality evaluated Kaplan-Meier curve weighted Cox regression predictive abilities Receiver operating curve.During 189,063 person-years follow-up, 5,680 (26.41%) death events documented, including 1,967 (9.15%) CVD deaths. J-shaped observed between mortality. indicated risks higher high quartiles compared lower quartiles. After adjusting for all covariates, positively associated all-mortality risk HR = 1.19 (1.15, 1.22), 1.24). result robust subgroup analysis sensitivity analysis.Elevated level increased among considered a potential clinical practice. Further large-scale cohort studies are required confirm our findings.
