ABSTRACT
Background Global and national estimates on the epidemiology of aortic aneurysms are prerequisites for disease management policymaking. Based Burden Disease (GBD) 2019, this study aimed to discern global aneurysm burden by systematically analyzing demographic data mortality exploring attributable risks relevant factors. Methods The analyzed in were available Health Data Exchange (GHDx) online query tool. population our comprised individuals from 204 countries territories 1990 2019. estimated annual percentage changes (EAPCs) performed assess temporal trends their risks. Spearman correlation analysis was explore relationship between covariates. Results Although aneurysm-related deaths (82.1%) disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) (67%) increased trend age-standardized rate death (ASRD) (EAPC: −1.34, 95% CI = −1.46 −1.22, P < 0.001) DALY (ASDALYR) −1.06, −1.17 −0.95, decreased, both which presented age dependence gender differences. Smoking high systolic blood pressure (SBP) main tend decease globally −1.89, −2.03 0.001; −1.31 −1.43 −1.19, 0.001, respectively). Alcohol abstinence (male: R −0.71, female: −0.73, 0.001), smoking initiation −0.32, −0.50, physical activity −0.55, mean temperature ( −0.62, had negative with ASRD. However, cholesterol level 0.62, 0.39, body mass index (BMI) 0.30, female −0.01, > 0.05), alcohol consumption 0.46, 0.42, a positive ASRM. Besides, standard living medical resources positively related aneurysm. Conclusion In study, decreasing found globally, especially advanced regions. Aged men who smoke women have hypertension should pay close attention to, particularly deprived economic groups, many approaches can be reduce aneurysms.
