ABSTRACT
Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) without standard modifiable cardiovascular risk factors (SMuRFs) represents a special case of ACS. Multiple biomarkers have been shown to improve stratification in patients with However, the utility for prognostic ACS SMuRFs remains uncertain. Seven candidate analyses analyzed using models adjusted established factors.During median 5-year follow-up, 81 621 experienced MACE. After adjustment important covariates, elevated fibrinogen, D-dimer, N-terminal proB-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] found be individually associated only NT-proBNP Lp(a) significantly improved reclassification MACE (all P < 0.05). multimarker analysis showed that there clear increase an increasing number higher score. hazard ratio- (95% confidential intervals) 4 6.008 (1.9650-18.367) relative those any biomarker-.
