ABSTRACT
The Shanagen hydrothermal vein-type Mo deposit belongs to the Derbugan metallogenic belt, which is located in Ergun block, NE China. mineralization mainly developed sericitized quartz siltstone around alkali-feldspar granite. In this paper, we present Molybdenite Re–Os dating, zircon U–Pb dating and geochemical data with aim of determining epoch tectonic setting. granite indicate that ore-formation emplacement occurred at 143.1 ± 3.8 Ma, 144.7 0.7 Ma. Both were formed early Cretaceous. Chemically, granites are enriched L rare earth element LILEs, depleted H HFSEs, pronounced negative Eu anomalies, metaluminous belong high-K calc-alkaline series highly differentiated I-type Geochemical features concave upwards pattern imply from magma generated by partial melting lower crust. Combining geochemistry, chronology, regional evolution, infer was extensional environment after closure Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean.
