Assessment of the Brazilian postgraduate evaluation system

ABSTRACT
The present study provided an overview of evaluation data from the “Sucupira Platform,” questionnaires with post-graduate deans, discussion forums, and international databases to assess Brazilian system. system is highly standardised homogenous throughout country little flexibility. There a disconnect ongoing changes in graduate studies, especially regarding possibility adopting flexible temporary doctoral projects partnerships. focuses mainly on process, not results, impact, social relevance. Although current requires strategic planning self-assessment, these are used when evaluating results. should be sensitive differences, valuing diversity institutional projects. Changes require clear timeline careful definition indicators. improvement information collection must occur coordination CNPq, new collecting platform able import various sources (RAIS, Lattes, WIPO, PrInt, etc.).
