ABSTRACT
The deterioration of rock mass under dynamic mechanical state is difficult to determine, especially when evolution trends micro-fractures are considered. Taking the limestone from Wuxia section Three Gorges Reservoir area as studying case, cross-scale tests and theoretical analysis were adopted study influence dry-wet cycles on deterioration. weakly acidic condition (pH = 6) dry environment at 105°C together constituted two extreme states cycles. Meanwhile, number soaking time used main variables analyze trend. After introducing damage mechanics, quantitative relationship between parameters changing was obtained. Combined with microstructure obtained by scanning electron microscope (SEM), it can be found that increase time, morphology mineral particles changed, secondary pores gradually increased, surface structure became looser, microcracks causing decrease macro strength. related method proposed in this paper could provide significant references determine rocky reservoir bank.
