ABSTRACT
Northwest China is a contacting region for East and West Eurasia an important center investigating the migration admixture history of human populations. However, comprehensive genetic structure Altaic speaking populations Hui group in were still not fully characterized due to insufficient sampling lack genome-wide data. Thus, We genotyped SNPs 140 individuals from five Chinese Mongolic, Turkic groups including Dongxiang, Bonan, Yugur, Salar, as well group. Analysis based on allele-sharing haplotype-sharing used elucidate population populations, PCA, ADMIXTURE, pairwise Fst distance, f-statistics, qpWave/qpAdm ALDER, fineSTRUCTURE GLOBETROTTER. observed people admixed deriving ancestry both Eurasians, with proportions Eurasian related contributions ranging 9 15%. The was probably driven by male-biased migration- showing higher frequency Y chromosomal lineages than that mtDNA detected China. ALDER-based haplotype-based GLOBETROTTER showed this signal introduced into approximately 700 ∼1,000 years ago. Generally, our findings provided supporting evidence flourish transcontinental communication between played vital role formation northwest
