ABSTRACT
SLC2A3 is a ferroptosis marker engaged in transmembrane glucose transport. However, the effect of on prognosis patients with cancer remains unclear. This study aimed to explore prognostic implications and its underlying immune mechanisms gastric cancer. The mRNA expression profiles corresponding clinical data were downloaded from Cancer Genome Atlas Gene Expression Omnibus databases. Differentially expressed genes related identified using R package "limma." ontology Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes enrichment analyses, gene set analysis, variation analysis used mechanisms. protein-protein miRNA interaction networks analyzed Cytoscape software. Immune cell infiltration was assessed single-sample analysis. Univariate multivariate Cox regression analyses revealed relationship between prognosis. found be highly tumor tissues associated an unfavorable Functional showed that cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, T signaling pathway, B checkpoints. also involved response regulation regulated by multiple miRNAs, including miR-195-5p, miR-106a-5p, miR-424-5p, miR-16-5p. indicated can as independent factor for predicting outcome miRNAs are potential biomarkers therapeutic targets.
