ABSTRACT
Ferredoxin 1 (FDX1), an iron-sulphur protein, is responsible for electron transfer in a range of metabolic redox reactions. Clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC) aggressive cancer characterised by reprogramming, and FDX1 critical regulator cuproptosis. However, the expression profile prognostic value associated with clinicopathological features ccRCC remain largely unelucidated. In this study, we integrated series public bioinformatic analysis to explore mRNA protein profiles across human cancers lines validated its value, especially ccRCC. were aberrantly downregulated grade, stage, nodal metastasis, whereas adjacent non-tumour kidney tissue, it was abundantly expressed cytoplasmically localised tubular epithelial cells. Multivariate indicated that low contributed unfavourable overall disease-free survival. The functional enrichment co-expressed genes involved mainly mitochondrial dysfunction various processes biological oxidation, besides cluster biogenesis. Furthermore, modulates immunological infiltration affect prognosis. Thus, downregulation mechanistically because tumourigenesis promising biomarker stratify patients
