ABSTRACT
Introduction Uncommon epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations include single and complex mutations. However, the association of smoking status patients with uncommon EGFR remains unclear. Methods This retrospective study evaluates spectrum investigates influence on frequency various using a multi-institutional medical database. Results Between 2010 2019, 5,608 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) were analyzed. detected in 3,155 (56.3%) patients. Among 399 (12.6%) mutations, 198 had 201 including 87 exon 20 insertions, 79 de novo T790M, 70 common, 52 For comparison, we also included 402 common The percentage ever-smokers was significantly higher than (25.8% vs. 17.4%, p = 0.005). Furthermore, those mutation (30.3% 21.2%, 0.040). carrying more never-smokers (22.3% 9.8%, 0.002). G719X, L861Q, S768I, tended to have frequently (64.7% 28.7%, 50.0% 18.7%, 88.9% 81.2%, respectively). Conclusions Our demonstrates not only comprehensive but positive relationship between frequency, especially results suggest that contributes development
