ABSTRACT
Background: Currently, there is no uniform standard for selecting the left double lumen tubes (LDLT). Advantages, such as safety and convenience of ultrasonic technology, measurement accuracy, make it more widely applied in clinical anesthesia, computed tomography (CT) multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) technology will certainly provide a accurate measurement. For better application thoracic surgery choice LDLT, relieving injury to patients, reducing complications, this study compare two approaches. Methods: The first part, 120 cases patients were selected according height gender; recording patient's optimum LDLT transverse diameter cricoid cartilage (TD-C) by ultrasound CT MPR, then obtained TD-C range MPR corresponding different types LDLT. second total 102 divided into group group. In group, was measured ultrasound, size intubation based on conclusions derived from part. Results: significant difference basic characteristics ( P > 0.05). accuracy conventional experience, namely gender 58.3%. Ultrasonic follows: 32 Fr <15.88, 35 Fr: 15.88–16.80, 37 16.75–17.81, 39 17.80. <15.74, 15.74–16.65, 16.56–17.68, 17.65. between groups 90.2% 94.1% Conclusions: significantly higher than experience; can reduce post-operative complications statistical significance vs. CT, both them could be safely used evaluation before under anesthesia surgery.
