ABSTRACT
Background: A previous study has shown that 81% of the COVID-19 patients had mild or moderate symptoms. However, most studies on sequelae in focused severe cases and long-term follow-up health consequences non-severe are limited. The current aimed to assess nearly 1 year after diagnosis with a particular focus recovery COVID-19. Methods: We enrolled 120 infected SARS-CoV-2 discharged from Wuhan Union hospital west district (designated for COVID-19) Fangcang shelter hospitals between January 29, 2020 April 1, 2020. All participants were asked complete series questionnaires their symptoms quality life psychological evaluation. Also, pulmonary function test, chest CT, 6-min walking test (6MWT), routine blood liver kidney tests, fasting glucose lipid immunoglobulin G antibody performed evaluate health. Results: mean age population was 51.6 ± 10.8 years. Of patients, 104 (86.7%) November 23, 11, 2021, median time 314.5 (IQR, 296-338) days. Sleep difficulties, shortness breath, fatigue, joint pain common observed during one-third these total 50 (41.7%) 45 (37.5%) reported anxiety depression, respectively. And 18.3% showed negative results IgG at follow-up, which correlated severity infection (R = 0.203, p 0.026), proportion higher than (20.2 vs. 6.3%). Pulmonary diffusion impairment 30 (26.1%) out 115 24 (24.2%) 99 cases. values forced vital capacity (FVC), expiratory volume s (FEV1), FVC/FEV1, (VC), lung (TLC), residual (RV) less normal range 1.7, 8.6, 0.9, 11.2, 7.0, 0.9% 55 (56.7%) 97 abnormal CT findings, including ground-glass opacities (GGO), bronchiectasis, nodules, lines bands, fibrosis. Furthermore, there correlation all SF-36-domain scores duration hospitalization, function, 6MWT. Conclusions: At 1-year survivors still multi-system issues, those respiratory functioning, radiography, life, depression. Moreover, also some Therefore, conducting follow-ups preventing reinfection this group is necessary.
