ABSTRACT
Epiphytic bacteria on the surfaces of submerged macrophytes play important roles in growth host plant, nutrient cycling, and conversion pollutants aquatic systems. A knowledge epiphytic bacterial community structure could help us to understand these roles. In this study, abundance, diversity, functions Myriophyllum spicatum collected from Baiyangdian Lake June, August, October 2019 were studied using quantitative PCR (qPCR), high-throughput sequencing, prediction functions. An analysis qPCR showed that most abundant least August. High-throughput sequencing revealed Proteobacteria, Gammaproteobacteria, Aeromonas dominant phylum, class, genus all samples. The common analyses operational taxonomic units (OTUs), NMDS, LDA communities clustered together based seasons. results a canonical correlation (CCA) key water quality index affected changes M. was total phosphorus (TP). abundance Gammaproteobacteria negatively correlated with TP. Predictive FAPROTAX predominant biogeochemical cycle chemoheterotrophy, nitrate reduction, fermentation. These suggest varies substantially seasons environmental conditions.
