ABSTRACT
Endophytic fungi from medicinal plants with specific pharmacological functions attract much attention to provide the possibility of discovering valuable natural drugs novel structures and biological activities. Nervilia fordii is a rare endangered karst endemic plant that used as medicine food homology in Guangxi, China. These have been reported antimicrobial, antitumor, antiviral, anti-inflammatory However, few studies focused on diversity antibacterial activity endophytic N. fordii. In present study, 184 were isolated healthy tissues fordii, their molecular antimicrobial activities analyzed for first time. categorized into 85 different morphotypes based morphological characteristics similarity between target sequence reference GenBank database. With exception 18 unidentified fungi, fungal isolates belonged at least 2 phyla, 4 classes, 15 orders, 45 known genera, species, which showed high abundance, rich diversity, obvious tissue specificity. All employed screen via agar diffusion method against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida tropicalis. Among these endophytes, eight strains (9.41%) displayed inhibitory E. 11 (12.94%) S. two (2.35%) C. tropicalis, some extent. particular, our study time plugs Penicillium macrosclerotiorum 1151# exhibited promising coli aureus. Moreover, ethyl acetate (EA) extract P. had effects aureus minimum concentration (MIC) 0.5 mg ml-1. Further research also confirmed one compounds was methyl chloroacetate excellent up 1.71-fold 1.13-fold compared tetracycline (TET) (5 ml-1), respectively. Taken together, data suggest various could be exploited sources agents.
