ABSTRACT
Objective The aim of this study is to investigate the safety and efficiency a Jrecan ® flow restoration system, novel thrombectomy device, in an arterial thromboembolic occlusion model Beagle dogs. Methods A total 12 dogs with acute thromboembolism were randomized receive mechanical either device or Trevo TM PROVUE Device (2:1). efficacy two devices, including recanalization rate, presence distal embolism, vasospasm, vessel perforation, injuries evaluated through DSA microscopic examination. Result 100% rate (mTICI 2b/3) was achieved both groups. Endothelial subendothelial occurred all target vessels. Focal disruption internal elastic lamina observed 4 cases. mean injury score group 1.16 ± 0.48, significantly lower than that (1.54 0.8) ( P < 0.001). Conclusion devices demonstrated equally high thromboembolism. However, histological findings revealed stent seemed be safer during clot retrieval, which might related more appropriate radial force provided by resulted from its wider cell design.
