ABSTRACT
Although many pathological mechanisms and etiological hypotheses of acute unilateral vestibulopathy (AUVP) have been reported, but the actual etiology remains to be elucidated. This study was based on comprehensive bioinformatics identify critical genes AUVP explore its mechanism.Gene expression profiles normal samples were collected from GSE146230 datasets Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) constructed, WGCNA R-package extracted significant modules. The limma applied differentially expressed (DEGs). common practical modules DEGs screened for GO KEGG pathways analysis. protein-protein interaction (PPI) layout hub validation created by Cytoscape software using link STRING functions predicted through CTD (comparative genetics database).A total 332 DEGs. Functional enrichment revealed that these predominantly associated with inflammation infection. After construction PPI, expressions genes, drawing ROC curves, LILRB2, FPR1, AQP9, LILRA1 are highly in (p < 0.05) a certain diagnostic efficacy (AUC > 0.7), so they selected as genes. suggested occurrence may related inflammation, necrosis, hepatomegaly, other conditions CTD.LILRB2, play essential roles developing AUVP, providing new ideas diagnosing treating AUVP.
