ABSTRACT
We conducted a multicenter clinical study to construct novel index based on combination of albumin-globulin score and sarcopenia (CAS) that can comprehensively reflect patients' nutritional inflammatory status assess the prognostic value CAS in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients. Between 2014 2019, 443 patients from 3 centers who underwent nephrectomy were collected (343 training set 100 test set). Kaplan-Meier curves employed analyze impact ratio (AGR), (AGS), sarcopenia, overall survival (OS) cancer-specific (CSS) RCC Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) used predictive ability AGR, AGS, prognosis. High low nonsarcopenia associated with higher OS CSS. According CAS, included 60 (17.5%) grade 1, 176 (51.3%) 2, 107 (31.2%) 3. Lower was linked longer Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed an independent risk factor for (grade 1 vs. 3: aHR = 0.08; 95% CI: 0.01–0.58, p 0.012; 2 0.47; 0.25–0.88, 0.018) CSS 0.12; 0.02–0.94, 0.043; 0.31; 0.13–0.71, 0.006) undergoing nephrectomy. Additionally, had accuracy predicting (AUC 0.687) 0.710) than sarcopenia. In addition, similar results obtained set. The developed this study, which reflects status, better predict prognosis
