ABSTRACT
Introduction In recent years, the relationship between circadian rhythm and overweight obesity has attracted attention of many scholars. Methods To evaluate association duration sleep regularity breakfast overweight. A total 1,178 students from Qingdao University were selected by stratified cluster sampling. There 601 males (24.69 ± 0.80 years old) 569 females (24.54 0.70 old). We used body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) to define levels. Chi-square test, Pearson correlation logistic regression applied test among overweight, duration, onset time, regularity. Pittsburgh quality was assess overall study subjects. Mediation effect Sobel analyze on Results Only 34.1% population ate every day, eating 1–3 times per week associated with a higher risk (BMI: OR = 2.183, 95%CI: 1.369,3,481; WC: 2.101, 1.232,3,583; WHR: 2.108, 1.331,3,337). The effects all types Usual Breakfast Consumption Frequency fully mediated ( p < 0.05). particular, subjects exercised outdoors more than five slept longer Conclusion Short may be main reason for irregular leading Adequate outdoor exercise is essential weight maintenance.
