ABSTRACT
Background: Every year, around 15 million children, in developing countries, die or develop life-long disabilities because of congenital cardiac diseases. In this report we measure the effect a pediatric surgery humanitarian project on health individual and potential influence has countries economy its growing services. Methods: We collected analyzed data from Italian NGO, Mission Bambini's database, including all missions undertaken Cambodia between 2012 2019. DALY's (Disability Adjusted Life Years) saved by mission were estimated used to reflect impact had populations economy.
