ABSTRACT
To compare the efficacy of two different surgical approaches during and after pyeloplasty according to degree/severity hydronephrosis factor. Sixty child patients with UPJ obstruction admitted our hospital from August 2019 October 2021 were collected. Patients who underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic (RPLP) enrolled into Group A (n = 20), while those received transperitoneal (TLP) selected as B 40). Clinical parameters, including gender, age, laterality obstruction, hydronephrosis, body weight, operation time, drainage tube indwelling complete oral feeding length stay, compared between groups. All 60 operated upon successfully without conversion open surgery. There no statistically significant differences in weight groups, time TLP was shorter than that RPLP, indicating a difference (P < 0.001). The stay RPLP superior terms postoperative recovery stratified comparison showed there anteroposterior diameter ≤ 20 mm, >20 mm. Hydronephrosis is reviewed 3 months operation, have been reduced. Both are safe feasible treatment their overall effects equivalent. For available, recommended.
