XPC Protein Improves Lung Adenocarcinoma Prognosis by Inhibiting Lung Cancer Cell Stemness

ABSTRACT
Objective: Xeroderma Pigmentosum Complementation Group C (XPC) is a protein involving in nucleotide excision repair (NER). XPC also plays an important role the lung cancer occurrence with mechanism remian unclear up to date. Studies showed that increased stemness of cells related recurrence and metastasis cancer. This study aimed analyze correlation stem cell biomarkers expression overall survival (OS) adenocarcinoma patients. Methods: 140 cases clinical tissue samples 48 paired paracancerous were made into microarray. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was used detect CD133 tissues. Semi-quantitative analysis statistics performed by Pannoramic Digital Slide Scanner. The fresh tissues verified Western blotting assay. siXPC knock down lines effect on ability invasion. And shXPC knockdown A549 H1650 biomarkers. Results: IHC results significantly decreased, while comparing ( P < 0.0001, = 0.0395). high level associated better prognosis Log-rank p 0.0577) Downregulation invasion abilities. Conclusion: It suggested can exert anti-tumor formation, tumor inhibition, prognostic improvement patients regulating cells.
