ABSTRACT
In the last decade, zebrafish have accompanied mouse as a robust animal model for cancer research. The possibility of screening small-molecule inhibitors in large number embryos makes this particularly valuable. However, dynamic visualization fluorescently labeled tumor cells needs to be complemented by more sensitive, easy, and rapid mode evaluating growth vivo enable high-throughput clinically relevant drugs. study we proposed validated pre-clinical drug discovery utilizing bioluminescence our readout determination transplanted cell inhibition embryos. For purpose, used NanoLuc luciferase, which ensured quantification with high sensitivity low background when compared conventional fluorescence measurements. This allowed us large-scale evaluation responses 180 kinase zebrafish. Our bioluminescent platform could facilitate identification new small-molecules targeted therapy well repurposing.
