ABSTRACT
In aerospace medicine, the influence of microgravity on cognition has always been a risk factor threatening astronauts’ health. The traditional medicinal plant and food material Gastrodia elata Blume used as therapeutic drug for neurological diseases long time due to its unique neuroprotective effect. To study effect fresh (FG) cognitive impairment caused by microgravity, hindlimb unloading (HU) was stimulate weightlessness in mice. (0.5 g/kg or 1.0 g/kg) intragastrically administered daily mice exposed HU behavioral tests were conducted after four weeks detect status animals. results showed that therapy significantly improved performance object location recognition test, Step-Down Morris Water Maze including short-term long-term spatial memory. According biochemical test results, administration not only reduced serum levels oxidative stress but also maintained balance pro-inflammatory anti-inflammatory factors hippocampus, reversing abnormal increase NLRP3 NF-κB. apoptosis-related proteins downregulated which may be related activation PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway therapy, changes synapse-related protein glutamate neurotransmitter corrected. These identify improvement new application form simulated advance our understanding mechanism
