ABSTRACT
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a heterogeneous hematological malignancy with historically high mortality rates. The treatment strategies for AML still internationally based on anthracyclines and cytarabine, which remained unchanged decades. With the rapid advance sequencing technology, molecular targets of leukemogenesis disease progression related to epigenetics are constantly being discovered, important prognosis AML. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) characterized by novel pharmacological mechanisms, low toxicity limited side effects. Several biologically active ingredients TCM effective against This review focuses bioactive compounds in targeting epigenetic mechanisms address complexities heterogeneity
