ABSTRACT
Given the difficulty in identifying individuals with different degrees of ovarian development, we developed a new device utilizing hypothesis mutual attraction behavior between male and female crabs mature gonads by releasing sexual pheromone so they could be examined. From total 40 crabs, 10 were isolated within half an hour. Histological analysis showed that ovaries group stage IV, while those control groups III. In addition, progesterone (PROG) experimental was significantly reduced compared (p < 0.05), but no significant difference detected estradiol (E2). response to developmental stages, hemolymph biochemical indices determination gonadal fatty acids profiles explored. The results indicated only C18:4 these two groups. A transcriptome generated determine genes involved process; differentially expressed (DEGs) related development. Therefore, can used isolate Chinese mitten IV
