ABSTRACT
Ptch receptors 1 and 2 mediate Hedgehog signaling pivotal for organ development homeostasis. In contrast to embryonic lethal Ptch1 −/− phenotype, Ptch2 mice display no effect on gross phenotype. this brief report, we provide evidence of changes in the putative incisor mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) niches that contribute accelerated growth, as well intriguing bones skin which suggest a role regulation MSCs their regenerative potential. We employed histological, immunostaining, computed tomography (µCT) analyses analyze morphological differences between wild-type incisors, long bones, skins. vitro CFU differentiation assays were used demonstrate MSC content potential bone marrow stromal cells. Wound healing assay was performed vivo 8-week-old assess wound closure. Loss causes increases number continuously growing incisor, associated with increased vascularization observed tooth mesenchyme neurovascular bundle. Increased length volume is linked augmented marrow. Dynamic thickness relate compartment impact closure The effects abrogation postnatal crucial
