ABSTRACT
Water deficit is a key factor to induce flowering in many woody plants, but reports on the molecular mechanisms of floral induction and by water are scarce. Here, we analyzed morphology, cytology, different hormone levels lemon buds during inductive deficits. Higher ABA were observed, initiation bud differentiation was examined paraffin sections analysis. A total 1638 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) identified RNA sequencing. DEGs related flowering, biosynthesis, or metabolism. The expression some associated with real-time PCR However, may not have anything do induction/flower development; they be involved general stress/drought response. Four from phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein family further investigated. Ectopic these Arabidopsis changed time transgenic plants. Furthermore, 5' flanking region also isolated sequence analysis revealed presence several putative cis-regulatory elements, including basic elements regulation elements. spatial temporal patterns promoters investigated under treatment. Based findings, propose model for citrus conditions, which will enable us understand mechanism deficit-regulated citrus.Based gene activity deficits sequencing transition, conditions proposed.
