ABSTRACT
L-Ascorbate (Asc) plays important roles in plant development, hormone signaling, the cell cycle and cellular redox system, etc. The higher content of Asc chloroplasts indicates its role photosystem. objective this study was to tall fescue leaves against heat stress. After a stress treatment, we observed lower value maximum quantum yield for primary photochemistry (φPo), which reflects inhibited activity photochemical phase photosystem II (PSII). Moreover, efficiency electron transfer from QB I acceptors (δR0), elevated thermal fescue. addition facilitate behavior PSII by lowering ROS as well that alternative donor provide tyrosine residue D1 protein. Additionally, exogenous reduces photosystem, could contribute limitation energy input into Synthesis increased under treatment. However, regulation does not occur at transcription level requires further study.
