ABSTRACT
The MADS-box gene family plays a crucial role in multiple developmental processes of plants, especially floral organ specification and the regulation fruit development ripening. Juglans mandshurica is precious material whose quality yield are determined by development. molecular mechanism J. female male flower depending on genes remains unclear. In our study, 67 JmMADS were identified unevenly distributed 15 16 chromosomes. These divided into two types [type I (Mα, Mγ, Mδ) type II (MIKC)]. structure motif analyses showed that most belonging to same had similar structures conserved motifs. analysis syntenic relationships mandshurica, sigillata, regia exhibited highest homology great collinearity. Analysis cis-acting elements promoter regions contained light, stress hormone response elements. expression patterns demonstrated 30 26 specifically expressed flowers, respectively. addition, 12 selected common flowers significantly upregulated at mature stage used validate reliability transcriptome data using quantitative real-time PCR. This comprehensive systematic lays foundation for future studies functions.
